Please read this disclosure before acquiring Climate Dollar (CLUSD). It is a summary of key risks and is not exhaustive or personalised advice.
What CLUSD is
CLUSD is a digital token that references the US dollar and carries a climate-impact commitment. It is not a bank deposit, not legal tender, not a security offering, and it is not covered by deposit insurance or investor compensation schemes.
Stability is not guaranteed
A stablecoin can trade above or below its reference value. Stability depends on the issuer's reserve management, redemption capacity and market conditions. A dollar reference is not a guarantee of a dollar value at all times.
Issuer and counterparty risk
You rely on the issuer and on partner institutions holding reserves and operating settlement. Failure, insolvency or operational breakdown at any of them can affect your ability to transact or redeem.
Custody and access risk
Access depends on your linked Wayv Money or Wayv Pay account. Loss of access to that account, or account suspension following a compliance review, may prevent you from moving CLUSD.
Technology risk
Blockchain networks, smart contracts and integration layers may suffer bugs, congestion, outages or attacks. Transfers are typically irreversible.
Regulatory risk
Rules for digital assets are evolving. New laws or supervisory decisions may restrict purchase, transfer, redemption or availability in your jurisdiction.
Climate-impact claims
Climate commitments are reported on a best-effort basis using third-party project data. Impact measurement methodologies vary and may be revised. A climate commitment does not create financial value or reduce financial risk.
No promise of return
CLUSD is not offered as an investment. There is no promise or expectation of interest, yield, appreciation, profit or capital protection. You may lose value.
Before you acquire CLUSD
